Okaukuejo Resort

Okaukuejo Resort is the largest of the places to stay inside Etosha National Park. Conveniently located only 17km from the Anderson entrance gate into Namibia’s most spectacular National Park. Okaukuejo Camp opened in 1957 and was the first place for tourists to stay and experience a safari in Etosha, today Okaukuejos rooms, chalets, camping sites and its night lit waterhole means it is still a favourite for where to stay inside Etosha Park.

Premier Waterhole Chalets

The Premier Waterhole Chalets at Okaukuejo are double storey bush chalets with an upstairs balcony that overlooks the waterhole allowing you to game view from the comfort of your own chalet! Each of the Okakukuejo Premier Waterhole Chalets has two bedrooms and can sleep up to four adults. They also have a lounge area, fridge and kettle. These family chalets can sleep up to four adults and are in high demand therefore early booking is essential.

There is no braai (BBQ) area at the Premier Waterhole Chalets, and no way to cook your own food so make your way to the restaurant at Okaukuejo for your evening meal. Breakfast is included in the price for all adults staying in the Premier Waterhole Chalets at Okaukuejo.

Camping at Okaukuejo is an experience you will never forget and the camping sites at Okaukuejo Resort cater for all your needs, with power points, lights, braai (bbq) pits, shower blocks with hot water, washing areas and best of all the best night sky and night sounds you will ever witness.
